We visited Cleveland and made a point to hit up a few local independent bookstores. This shop did not disappoint. They had a nice selection of new and many used titles.

Awesome bookshop with lovely staff :) I stopped in to re-purchase a book I had accidentally left behind while traveling, and the kind staff member not only helped me find a used copy but also offered some anonymous store credit so my total wasn't even $5. So generous and we had a lovely chat as well. Would absolutely recommend this shop to anyone looking for books or a lovely afternoon side quest!

Cute bookstore with a vast collection of new and used books. Very friendly service and a perfect stop before or after getting a milkshake from Tommy's!

My favorite kind of store! Lots of different offerings, both new and used, and a relaxed, cozy feel. Cool loft upstairs with sci-fi and graphic novels, basement with non-fiction, and YA/kids/fiction on the ground floor. Plus lots of book-related merch like t-shirts, tote bags, jigsaw puzzles, and bookmarks.

A supremely cozy experience of being completely surrounded by new and used books. It’s exactly what you imagine when you dream of stepping into a warm bookshop. Unique selection of books from all genres too!

This is a cute book store with a small selection of books. Good prices. It is three floors but the basement and top floor are small. Great place to stop and patron a small business book store. Parking is free across the street in the parking garage. Good restaurants around as well.

I have been coming here since I was a little girl. I went to every Harry Potter release here, and it’s always the place. I like to place my order for pre-orders. It’s such a great vibe and not a perfect location where you can grab lunch at Tree Country Bistro across the street, you can go next-door and grab a milkshake at Tommy’s, and you can even do your grocery shopping across the street. Everything about this shop is what I dream a bookstore would be. Multiple levels, new, and used books, and familiar faces that that stick around the store for years, and make you feel like family.

This was my first time visiting Mac’s and I’ll definitely return. I was there for a reading by author Allegra Solomon. I had a chance to engage with the owner and staff. They were warm, welcoming and insightful. Their collection is amazing! We need more independent book stores like Mac’s.

Really cool book store located in a great area of Cleveland, definitely stop in and then walk around and check out the other shops! Great selection of books, magazines, and zines I appreciated that they carried Interview! Everything seems pretty reasonably priced too. Great spot!

Great selection and friendly staff, with a cozy interior and great vibes. There's a nice mix of secondhand and new books, and every inch of the store is packed with things to peruse. I have somewhat eclectic tastes when it comes to what I look for in a used book store, and Mac's delivers. I was able to buy some niche things I was looking for and buy best sellers in the same trip. I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
